Thank You Mrs. Stover

PTO president, April Stover, represented West Houston Charter School before the Katy City Council to try to get street lights installed in front of the school. Unfortunately the city will not pay for the installation. However, we appreciated Mrs. Stover's time and effort and hope that some day we may have the funds to pay for installation.
Story:
City denies charter school's request for light installation
West Houston Charter School will not have street lights in the area of Eleventh Street and Avenue A unless it wants to pay for the installation.
Katy City Council denied the school's request Monday night, saying it does not want to set a precedent of footing the bill for installations, although the city did agree to pay for lighting service if the school or the subdivision were to pay for the installation.
