What's Going on in Science?
6th An in-depth study of Plate tectonics including an interdisciplinary unit on "How the Earth was Formed" featuring Celtic, Greek, Roman and Apache Mythology.
7th Grade Review of Plate Tectonics starring Alfred Wegener, and his "unbelievable" theory on Pangea.
8th Review of Plate Tectonics, then a dive into Buoyancy.
WHCS provides free tutorial for TAKS preparation and after school class work tutorial from 3:30-4:00 p.m. M, T, T & F (Wednesday is staff meeting so no students are to stay after).
