Hello Again Everyone!
I am happy to say I have been very busy for the past couple of weeks cataloging all the new books that were purchased thanks to our Book Fair proceeds. We have added lots of interesting titles to the library and I know the students will enjoy checking them out. We also have a new rug in the library for the students to sit on during story time. Stop by the library and see how great it looks.
Mrs. Porter's homeroom class had the most book sales at the book fair and they enjoyed their ice cream party on January 22nd. It was a beautiful day so they were able to eat outside. Congratulations again to Mrs. Porter's class.
Congratulations also to Mrs. Morrison's 5th grade class. They are the winners of the Library Excellence Award for February. Their great behavior has earned them a special bookmark and a certificate for their room. Great job Mrs. Morrison's class!
Do you have a few minutes to spare once a week? The library is looking for a volunteer to help with the school marquee. If enjoy the outdoors and like to spell this could be the position for you! Please contact me if you are interested.
