Donelle Hamilton

Donelle Hamilton joined the WHCS School Board in November of 2009.
Donelle is originally from Louisiana. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in
Elementary Education and in Special Education from The Franciscan University of
Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio. She is also a Texas state certified teacher. She has
taught both regular and special education students for several years prior to starting a
family.
Donelle’s oldest child completed 8th grade at WHCS in May of 2010. Her other
two children are currently enrolled at the school. She served as a Parent Teacher
Organization (PTO) Board Member and Volunteer Coordinator prior to becoming a
WHCS School Board member. She continues to volunteer her time at the school on a
regular basis.
